Job Title: Executive Officer for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Office of the Provost at the University of Iowa as well as Associate Athletics Director within the Department of Athletics in the Student-Athlete Academic Services Office. Received my undergraduate, masters, and doctorate degree in psychology, clinical psychology, and educational leadership and policy studies, respectively from the University of Kansas. Before joining Iowa in 2013, managed student services and advised student-athletes in academic, personal, and professional development at KU, Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and Northern Illinois.
How you got to Iowa City: I accepted a position as Associate Athletics Director overseeing all academic support programs and services for our UI student-athletes.
Why you decided to participate in the Welcoming Banner project: I decided to participate in the program as it demonstrates a continued and important partnership between the University and our surrounding communities.
